About the comedian: Veteran Twin Cities comedians are banding together for a show called "Attack of the Crusty Old Men: Vintage Standup." This showcase features Wild Bill Bauer, Dean Johnson, Tom Baumgartner, Paul Dillery and Joe Minjares. These funny old farts have a combined 295 years of experience.

Joe Minjares has lived half his life in Minnesota and half on the West Coast acting in movies and television. He started his comedy career by winning the 1984 Minneapolis Comedy Invitational. After moving to Hollywood, he quickly established himself as an actor with a wide range in TV series ranging from Roseanne and NYPD Blue to ER. His film credits include McHale's Navy and The Truman Show.

Tom Baumgartner has performed on A & E’s “Comedy On The Road”, and was regularly featured on the Dennis Miller Show where his “Jokes from Tom” was an audience favorite. While in Los Angeles, he quickly amassed an impressive acting resume with roles on “LA Law”, “General Hospital”, “Santa Barbara”, “Amen”, “Roseanne”, and “Hunter”. His everyman look and persona made him a favorite in nationally televised commercials as well. Tom returned to the Twin Cities to raise his son, and has recently re-entered show business.

Dean Johnson's soft-spoken demeanor masks a truly bizarre mind. Mixing comedy and music, Dean has long been a favorite in clubs across the country, working with a wide range of well-known personalities including the Smothers Brothers and Louie Anderson. The StarTribune says, "Johnson mixes homespun observations...with some sly satire worthy of Steven Wright".

"Wild" Bill Bauer is a Twin Cities comedy legend, and an audience favorite. Bauer has the amazing ability to be extremely offensive without using any four-letter words. From death and funerals, to bear attacks, to a Russian Roulette tournament, Bauer's act is notorious for crossing the line of decency. The sick and sordid nature of Bauer's act also focuses on his family, and as he talks about the crazies in his family, you'll find yourself relating as you think about your own insane uncles, ostracized cousins and other black sheep.

Paul Dillery made his national TV debut in the 12th Annual HBO Young Comedian's Showcase. He has also been seen on MAD TV. His show mixes a little vaudeville with extremely well-written humor.
