About the comedian: Dave Mordal has done it all: he's been a Marine, a heavy equipment operator, a botched hometown gas station robber, a stand up comedian, and a television host. Dave came from Elk River to make it to the big time comedy spotlight, much to the enjoyment of cringe-humor fans everywhere. Best known for his appearances on two seasons of "Last Comic Standing", Dave's biting wit has quickly made him a favorite on shows such as "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn", and Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham". He most recently was the host of the Discovery Channel's "Wreakreation Nation", a combination of "Dirty Jobs" and bizarre sports and hobbies. Dave Mordal shows the country what Minnesotans are really like once you pull back the thin veneer of 'Minnesota Nice'.

Dave destroys audiences with his edgy and clever material. His small-town origin is quickly forgotten as you realize that he is dripping sarcasm as he delivers brutally funny jokes, and a pessimistic outlook on life in the Midwest. Garrison Keillor he ain't.
